this morning while getting dressed for school i received a phone call from a woman asking about my father. "hello good morning dito po ba nakatira si ***** **?" [my father] thinking it was a call from the the head office of the shipping company that he works for i answered, "opo." "dito ba siya nakatira?," she asked again. "oo nga po. sino po ba sila?" "anak ka ba niya?," she said. what's with the question? i was kinda annoyed already coz she wouldn't tell me who she was so i passed the phone to my mother. it was then when she hung up. we have a caller i.d. so my mother called back and as it turned out, the woman was calling from a pay phone. "lalake ba o babae," my mother asked me. "babae."
